The Tips and Tricks from the old Winfiles site

The Winfiles site contained many useful tips and tricks for 32 bit versions of Windows (win95, NT, and CE). Many of these tips are still useful with Windows 98 and newer versions.

Some of these tips involve editing the registry.  Before using any tip that involves regedit or regedt32 (regedt32 is only for Windows NT and Windows 2000, read the following warning.
